Shaykh Dr Haitham al-Haddad is a UK-based Islamic scholar and jurist with extensive experience in Islamic jurisprudence, contemporary Islamic thought and the application of Islamic principles to modern-day challenges.

He holds a PhD from SOAS, University of London, specialising in Islamic jurisprudence relating to Muslim minorities, as well as a degree in Shari‘ah and Law. He has studied the Islamic sciences under numerous prominent scholars and holds classical ijāzāt in disciplines including Qur’an and Hadith.

For over two decades, Shaykh Haitham has served in Islamic judicial and advisory roles in the UK. He has taught extensively in areas including Fiqh, ‘Aqidah, Usul al-Fiqh, Maqasid al-Shari‘ah, Tafsir and Islamic thought, and has authored a number of books and educational works.
